After years of hard work on nothing more than a little bit of cash, a team that loved Star Trek and his parents’ basement, Tommy Kraft has finally released “Star Trek: Horizon.”
Filmed almost entirely with virtual sets, Kraft set his story in the “Star Trek: Enterprise” universe, with the NX-04 starship. He tells the story of the Romulan War, something that has been hinted about in Star Trek almost from the very beginning of the series nearly 50 years ago, in a way even Hollywood might not have been able to.
“With this project, I intend only to use my skills to show my love for a franchise that has been an endless source of inspiration for me,” Kraft says on his YouTube page. “Not only professionally, but personally as well.”
