While fans continue to wait for Paramount Pictures to release a new trailer for “Star Trek: Beyond” this weekend, CBS has jumped ahead with a teaser of its own for its new yet-to-be-titled Star Trek series on CBS All Access.
The new trailer is mostly CGI flight through the cosmos, and doesn’t reveal much of anything. Except for a new logo and what appears to be a new typeface.
It’s not clear if this would be the actual typeface for the new series, as fonts and such typically change as a show gets closer to actual production.
CBS is not yet ready to release the full name of the series just yet, or even anyone attached to appear. But those announcements are expected to come later this summer.
